Shook and Drew Dog sat at the table counting up money from the first drop offs of the crack they were now hustling. Drew Dog was in the best of spirit but there was one thing bothering him. Shook knew his road dog like the back of his hand and though he was jovial, something underneath had gotten to him.
“You know I sent those niggas to blast on Lazy.” Drew Dog admitted.
“Is that why something is fucking with you? Why didn’t you tell me you was gon’ have that nigga killed?” Shook asked.
“I thought you would try to talk me out of it.” Drew Dog replied.
“Well why you want to smoke that nigga? He wasn’t any type of threat to what we were trying to do. He was just real fucked up behind what happened to Cisco and Fat Rat.” Shook didn’t understand the logic.
“That’s all the nigga kept talking about though. Cisco this, Fat Rat that, and at some point a nigga got to thinking he might be a problem later on. You know the first thing I’m gon’ want to do is get rid of a problem, cuz.” Drew Dog nodded.
“You got them niggas from the other set to put in the work?”
“Yeah, because I figured that he might recognize one of the homies. I told Big Boy that if he wanted to start getting dope at a good price then he needs to prove something to me. They put in the work but didn’t kill the nigga. What kind of shit is that, cuz?”
“You think Lazy knows who sent them or who it was that was trying to kill him?” Shook showed serious concern.
“I don’t know.” Drew Dog admitted.
“You my nigga and you know that. But sometimes cuz, you can go too far. Lazy is the type of nigga that if you win him over to yo side he will die committed to that shit. Now everything is up in the air.” Shook warned.
“I know I fucked up in more ways than one. If I’m gon’ kill the nigga I should have made sure it was done right. But truthfully he was probably best left alone. He didn’t have a clue that we had anything to do with Fat Rat and Cisco. I was just on some paranoid shit, cuz.”
“If we go to the hospital to see how he’s doing then it might throw any suspicion he has off of us.” Shook suggested.
“Nah, he already has police posted upstairs in his room at the hospital. I sent Tidbit up to the hospital when Big Boy told me they didn’t kill him. The cold thing about it is that they lost one of their homeboys. Big Boy had one of his little homeboys with him that Lazy picked off.” Drew Dog smirked.
“That muthafucka Lazy is a soldier. It would be better if he was on our team. Lazy’s probably looking at some jail time for that pistol he had. So he’s gon’ be gone for a few years. What did Big Boy and those niggas do with the body.
